Kyle Cooper was born on Friday the 13th in Salem, Massachusetts in 1962. During his childhood, he enjoyed spending every waking moment drawing monsters and creatures on anything he could write on. He was absolutly obsessed with horror movies which is fitting seeing as he was born on Friday the 13th in Salem, Massachusetts.
He went onto study Interior Design at the University of Massechusetts Amherst. He was only able to pass and recieve his BFA after pleading for his professor to pass him. As it turns out, he never actually did any professional or noteworthy work as an interior designer. Afterwards in 1988, he went to obtain a MFA from Yale School of Art and studied under Paul Rand and learned more about graphic design. Paul Rand is a renowned american modernist and graphic designer who is famously known for the creation of the IBM, UPS, and ABC logos.
After finishing university, Kyle Cooper began working with R/Greenberg Associates in New York City and Los Angeles from 1988 to 1996. It was during this time when he created his most famous title sequence for the 1995 crime film Se7en which became his career booster. In 1996, Kyle cofounded and named his first creative agency: Imaginary Forces. He, along with Peter Frankfurt and Chip Houghton, made Imaginary Forces to be one Hollywood's most successful and looked after creative agencies; it directed and produced over 150 film titles and VFX sequences to movies such as The Mummy, Argo, Dawn of the Dead, and many more. But after a while, Kyle found himself growing tired and bored of dealing with Hollywood politics and business dealing and so he left. In 2003, he left Imaginary Forces and founded Prologue Films where he and a small groupd of creators would focus more on the creactivity side of the Hollywood industry and would create many more title sequences. They created title sequences for The Incredible Hulk, Final Destination 5, and The Walking Dead.
